Client gets clear view of maintenance costs for following five years

Lakeside Healthcare, a long standing client of Neil Mason Associates, currently operates five different medical centres of varying sizes in the Corby area.

All the medical centres required maintenance and upgrade works of differing degrees and the practice team need up to date and accurate data identifying the type of works required to the different properties at various times over the next five years. This would cover the fabric of the building including repointing and roof repairs as well as internal finishes such as decoration and recarpeting.

All properties were surveyed room by room in order to identify all the elements needing attention. All this information was compiled into a detailed spreadsheet showing each element, its location, description, defect remedy, budget cost, timescale and priority level.

The client received all the raw data but also a summary report which gives the key areas requiring attention and a recommendation as to how these defects should be deal with. The report also highlights the costs per year for the next five years, giving the practice a clear view of the financial investment required over that period.

The client was very happy with the report and the clarity it gave them.
